Taylor Tomlinson, the quick-witted stand-up comedian we’ve come to love, had a special someone in her life not too long ago. The 32-year-old funny lady was dating M.K. Sadler, 37, a photographer, and fans were buzzing with excitement over their relationship.
Known for her candid humor about relationships, Taylor has always kept her audience guessing in regards to her relationship status. She’s joked about her relationship experiences with both men and women. In an interview with Out, she quipped, “I know how to get men to like me. It’s easy, you just trick ’em.” But when it comes to women, she’s admitted it’s a whole different ball game. She compared the two experiences:
Hitting on women is so much harder. It feels so much more delicate. Like, hitting on a woman feels like trying to skip a stone on a lake, hitting on a man feels like throwing a brick through a window.
For a while, it seemed like Taylor had finally found her perfect match. She even shared in an interview with the LA Times that she met M.K. about a month before she filmed Have It All, suggesting their romance began around October 2023.
The pair was spotted together at the Have It All release party on February 16, and then again on March 1, when M.K. shared her own set of pictures on Instagram. Among them were Polaroids of the couple looking adorable, kissing, hugging, and captioned with “unknown blessings already on the way.”
However, as Taylor revealed in a sit-down on Andrew Santino‘s podcast in August 2024, the two have since called it quits. “Yeah, I’m single right now,” Taylor confessed. “I got dumped a couple of months ago… She broke up with me ’cause I work too much and she’s like, ‘I just need somebody more like available,’ and I was like, that is so fair. I am the busiest I’ve ever been in my life.”
So, while things didn’t quite pan out as planned, the time they shared together is still fresh in everyone’s minds.
Meanwhile, since splitting up with her, Taylor is single, and considering the circumstances surrounding her breakup with Sadler, surely she will only step into the dating world once she’s ready to go all in and not half-ass anything.
Now, if you’re wondering who M.K. is and what makes her so special that our Bisexual Queen fell in love with her, let’s dive into what we know about the M.K., for a brief but beautiful moment, that captured Taylor’s heart.
She Was Previously Married, To A Man
M.K. was married to Greg Sadler, a musician who played a big part in shaping her early career. The two had tied the knot on October 5, 2012, and soon after their lives took a major turn.
In a 2016 ARC interview, Meghan revealed that she and her husband moved from Texas to Los Angeles for his career in 2013, which also benefited her photography pursuits.
Back then, her daily life was built around her partner’s schedule. She explained,
My husband tends to have gigs at night so I push my editing/meeting schedule around him.
Their busy lives required careful planning, especially when it came to travel. She would try to match her work trips with Greg’s, saying,
Right now work/life balance just looks like scheduling my traveling when my husband is traveling. That way we can spend as much time at home together as possible.
But what exactly led to the downturn with Greg? That’s still a mystery. But one thing’s for sure – life threw some curveballs at both Sadler, who identifies as ‘queer’ on her Instagram, and her current partner Tomlinson and somehow those twists and turns led them to each other.
She Is A Photographer With A Background In Design
Meghan’s path to photography wasn’t a straight shot. With a degree in Design and Visual Communications from the University of North Texas, she initially landed a cozy job in graphic design. But something didn’t click.
“I think I tried not to be a photographer for a while,” she confessed to ARC. Despite her comfortable gig, she felt creatively stifled. The wake-up call came during an annual report project. Meghan was pumped about her design work, only to have it deflated by some seriously subpar client photos.

This frustration lit a spark. As part of her job, she often dug up images for various projects. “From there I started getting hooked on certain photographers’ blogs,” she shared. Before she knew it, she was ditching her design career for a camera.
She Grew Up In A Poor Family
Sadler didn’t grow up with much, but she had a wealth of creativity. As a kid, she was always making something – drawing, painting, crafting books and mobiles, you name it. Her go-to material? Whatever construction paper was lying around.
“We were on the poorer side,” she admits. But her mom was a champ at encouraging her to see the world differently. She’d push Meghan to play make-believe and turn ordinary stuff into something special.
This knack for spotting beauty in every day stuck with her. Even now, she finds inspiration in the little things, like how the sun and wind make her curtains dance. “It’s almost like the house is breathing,” she says.
Looks like those early days of making do with less set Meghan up perfectly for her future as a photographer. Who knew leftover construction paper could lead to a career in capturing life’s moments?
