But before we dive into the unsettling circumstances surrounding her untimely death, let’s rewind and celebrate the life she lived, one that was as colorful as her vibrant social feeds.

Born on October 13, 2000, in Philadelphia, Mia was not just any Instagram sensation; she was a trailblazer who merged music with social media in a way that captivated millions. Kicking off her career in 2016, she quickly became known for her lip-syncing videos, but it didn’t stop there.

Mia was a talented rapper and songwriter, her tracks resonating with a realness and raw emotion that drew people in. On top of her artistic pursuits, she was studying hard, aiming to switch lanes from entertainment to law as a future defense attorney.

But life had its scripts, and as we come to terms with her loss, this article aims to piece together the lingering questions about her personal life. Was she dating anyone? What really happened on that fateful day at Clark Park, 4300-4398 Baltimore Ave?

How Did Petty Levels Die?

So this is what happened. According to numerous social media users, on the afternoon of July 24th, 2024, they received a sudden and sobering notification on their Citizens app, the news-there was an active shooting at Clark Park in Philadelphia. This initial alert, sparse on details, naturally triggered a flurry of concern and speculation among the local community and beyond.

As the hours unfolded, the gravity of the situation deepened. Social media platforms began buzzing with unconfirmed reports that Petty Levels, might be the victim of this shooting. Now, here’s where things got a bit murky and extremely tragic—there was chatter that the shooter might have been her boyfriend.

In the aftermath of this shooting at Clark Park, another realization had also surfaced: The Philadelphia Police Department has not officially reported any such incident. In fact, there had been no formal confirmation of a shooting at all, which raised questions about the circumstances surrounding Petty’s tragic passing. Additionally, the female who died in the shootout was apparently in her 30s, while Petty was only 23.

Ultimately, it was found that everything the internet was saying was false. Philadelphia Inquirer confirmed Petty Levels was not killed in a shootout that “apparently” happened in Clark Park.

Moreover, a few close sources confirmed to PopTVCulture that Petty, in fact, died on July 19th in Florida, as confirmed by one of her aunts on Facebook some time ago.

Apart from this, there’s another version of Petty’s death doing rounds on the internet. According to the rumor, she reportedly committed suicide after contracting HIV.

Well, whatever the case may be, everyone’s still piecing together the puzzle, relying on bits and pieces from eyewitness accounts and alerts that popped up on apps like Citizens, which flagged the shooting incident.

Petty, who graduated from Frankford High School in 2016, was active on OnlyFans from where she earned a lot of money. At the time of her death, this gorgeous African/American beauty had a net worth of somewhere between $100,000 and $250,000.
